Many of the examples of painted & refinished furniture featured here are "recovered" or "destined for the dumpster" pieces that have been reclaimed using a variety of finishing techniques.

This Commode was stenciled using a gold mica and glaze mixture. 22KT gold leaf was applied to all the molding and legs. A patina was added to soften the gold and give it a more lustrous appearance.
